Fire Curtain + Elemental Reset - EmuAlert - 2009-07-13 Does it work? I'm skeptical of this skill in particular because when a monster resists an element (say, poison), that elemental attack does 50% damage. But when you use Poison Mist, the enemies simply do not get poisoned, resulting in 0% damage (I'm assuming Fire Curtain works the same way). So would using level 1 Elemental Reset (5% reset-ness) cause a fire-resistant enemy to get "burnt" but only take 5% of what the DoT would do on a neutral enemy? Would the enemy never get burnt until the attack was officially 0% fire element, i. e. 100% reset? Or would the enemy never get burnt no matter the level of reset? Also, does Fire Curtain do 1.5x damage on fire-weak enemies? I don't think poison does more on poison-weak enemies, but I may be wrong. Fire Curtain + Elemental Reset - STFUorCCnewB - 2009-07-13 I don't really know the answer, but the monsers will probaly get burned with Fire Curtian. Elemental Reset comes to help you with the monsters that strong against fire. All the affects will be the same, I don't see any change. Crimson Guard leech is coming soon. lol Fire Curtain + Elemental Reset - Vernacular - 2009-07-13 Elemental Reset does work with Curtain. A friend of mine went to squids with reset and curtain, but I'm assuming Squids are fire resistant. Also curtain works a little different, you cannot overlap them or spam them like with poison mist. Fire Curtain + Elemental Reset - EmuAlert - 2009-07-13 Alright, thanks guys. Curtain seems a little overpowered then, they can mist anything. On top of Typhons and Himes that they already can kill, they can just use Reset and, with the help of either a dooring priest or teleporting rock, can train on Priests/Oracles of Oblivion for some pretty insane exp (7.5m/hour judging from this video). |
