i have never been a trekie, and until this happened i probly never would have been. the movie was amazing, i have seen it twice and have plans to see it again (yay for working at a theater and having free movies) (and the occasional option of turning the sound in a theater up a bit for one showtime!)

Awesome movie, saw it today, and i gotta say, it was the right mix of awesome and cheesy to get the three eras of Star Trek. The story was also amazing, well worth the change from what you might usually see in a Trek movie. Just gotta love how JJ Abram works. Now just to wait for a new one in 5 years.

2011, i can wait for that, should be at least some good movies between now and then. I know Year One comes out on my b-day, and imma go see it again (saw a pre-screening) because it was one of the most funniest movies ive seen in a long time.
