Energy Charge Touch Damage - Russt - 2009-04-13

Needing a formula for this. Has one been found?

If not, I could derive it. A simple thing you can do to contribute, if you're a Marauder, is simply to go to HHG (or anywhere), charge up energy, stand on a snail (or anything else, but say what else) and post the highest/lowest numbers you see along with your stats.

I'd appreciate it.

I had seen the damage as low as a 6 on Manon, and I know I saw some hits in the double digits area. I think the range is simply 1% of minimum range -200% maximum range. IE 200% damage, but 1% mastery. Goggleemoticon

i believe charge does not have mastery, so the damage dealt is 1 damage - 200% damage.

Why i said 1 damage and not 1% damage is because, i still encounter 1 damage from charge while bossing, so definitely 1 damage is not = 1% of the damage. Rolleyes

Time isn't 100% accurate, I video them so I don't get the damage wrong. (According to the second video, Energy Charge lasted for 55seconds, probably because of the animation when it charges up and disappears (First and last hits were during the animations ;o)

I have to agree that the damage has no mastery as well. I hit double digit numbers on stormbreakers sometimes. It probably counts for defense of the monster too, but it's probably too uneven a range of numbers to come to that conclusion.

If it is 200% of your damage range though, LF> 10k hit with energy charge. Goggleemoticon

Hm.

It seems like it might be 200% damage with 10% mastery with D3ath's so-far results (thank you). Maybe the 1-2 digit numbers are a result of defense, or some sort of boss modifier? (PG is half as effective on bosses, maybe this as well?)
