I haven't been paying much attention to anything (other than the big names of course), but I'm rootin' for Ashton Eaton in the uh... decathlon? He went to my high school and there's a possibility I was a freshman when he was a senior? We might have breathed in the same air.

What a fiasco in Men Javelin meter-wise. However that Bronze for Finland was all I expected and I'm VERY pleased with it. It just feels bad, because Finland had 3 men in the finals now and ALL of them are able to throw 85m +, which -unbelieveably- would have been enough for Gold this time (Vesely, Thorkildsen, what happened?). Oh well, offical goal of 3 medals achieved, I guess I can live with that.
