SOPA Act - Sarah - 2012-01-12 Nexon supports SOPA. Another site (not joystiq) reached out to them and all other game companies and Nexon was really the only one that commented and while they didn't straight up say it, their response made it pretty clear that they do (otherwise they would've just said no we don't) SOPA Act - Ryukiroku - 2012-01-12 Sarah Wrote:Nexon supports SOPA. SOPA Act - Sarah - 2012-01-13 Ryukiroku Wrote:Only found this source:Nope, that's it. Any answer other than no might as well be yes. You'll noticed that everyone else who has responded has said no straight up. I think it's also safe to assume that those who do not answer are also in support but can't come out and say it because that's just asking for a boycott. SOPA Act - sicnarf - 2012-01-13 KhainiWest Wrote:The problem is nearly every representative i've tried to contact (like a week before christmas) has given me and my friends the same copy and pasted bull pomegranate ever. Then we got dumb asses who don't understand the bill trying to push it forward and deal with the consequences later. Are you calling them? SOPA Act - WillDaSnail - 2012-01-13 As of yesterday, Riot Games - developer/publisher of the MOBA/RTS game League of Legends (LoL) - has officially joined in the fight against SOPA. I'd figure their support for SOPA but for the life of me, I guess I was expecting a little more than just a dodge. Sounds more Nexony more this way though I guess. Either that or not get a fucking response until after the bill is voted on. SOPA Act - Chicocl - 2012-01-13 The creator of the SOPA act actually broke the law in the past by posting a image on his website and don't giving credits to the creator. source (in spanish don't feel like translating right now): http://www.theclinic.cl/2012/01/12/autor-de-la-ley-sopa-infringe-el-derecho-de-autor-en-su-sitio-web/ Edit: english source: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/01/13/lamar-smith-copyright-violation_n_1203871.html SOPA Act - KhainiWest - 2012-01-13 sicnarf Wrote:Are you calling them? There's no way I can without leaving just a voice message, where they'll give you an obligated call back that's just an auto message. lol Though if I recall the maryland rep's are against this bill anyway so I didn't put much effort into it SOPA Act - happylight - 2012-01-13 Of course being Nexon I wouldn't be surprised if they've never even heard of SOPA. SOPA Act - iamflip - 2012-01-13 http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=1696462 League of Legends CEO and co-founder publicly showing support against SOPA, and the thread goes over 240 pages of replies. SOPA Act - iamflip - 2012-01-14 Ryukiroku Wrote:http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/13/lamar-smith-removes-dns-blocking-from-sopa/ So yeah, we've won the battle, but the war isn't over yet. The bill's most controversial clause may have been removed, but there's still plenty left that can threaten establishments if that bill passes in its current form. Probably the second worse thing in that bill to DNS blocking is freezing anything that's financing a site. It's bad news for anyone that has small online business and anything of that sort. SOPA Act - WillDaSnail - 2012-01-14 Ryukiroku Wrote:http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/13/lamar-smith-removes-dns-blocking-from-sopa/ I wouldn't trust SOPA dying out completely with that action. Until the day SOPA gets wiped out completely from the face of the earth, Congressman Smith can still pull a fast one on us. The only way SOPA can die out completely is to keep the pressure up on SOPA sponsors until they all drop off like flies. Also: election year coming up. Crank it up to the max. Make those guys pay with their jobs. If they like to threaten our freedoms, we voters also have the ability to make them realize that their congressional seat is on their line. SOPA Act - iamflip - 2012-01-14 Not sure if real or scripted... On one hand, it is from 3 important cabinet members of the White House. On the other hand, how can I have any faith in the administration after they passed NDAA?

I remember reading a long article on here saying that Obama was pigeonholed into signing that (there was a reason he couldn't veto). I'll see if I can find it again. EDIT: http://extremeliberal.wordpress.com/tag/ndaa/ Not the same article, and probably extremely biased, but it contains the same general information.
