Nexon supports SOPA. Another site (not joystiq) reached out to them and all other game companies and Nexon was really the only one that commented and while they didn't straight up say it, their response made it pretty clear that they do (otherwise they would've just said no we don't)

I'd figure their support for SOPA but for the life of me, I guess I was expecting a little more than just a dodge. Sounds more Nexony more this way though I guess. Either that or not get a fucking response until after the bill is voted on.

So yeah, we've won the battle, but the war isn't over yet. The bill's most controversial clause may have been removed, but there's still plenty left that can threaten establishments if that bill passes in its current form. Probably the second worse thing in that bill to DNS blocking is freezing anything that's financing a site. It's bad news for anyone that has small online business and anything of that sort.

I wouldn't trust SOPA dying out completely with that action. Until the day SOPA gets wiped out completely from the face of the earth, Congressman Smith can still pull a fast one on us. The only way SOPA can die out completely is to keep the pressure up on SOPA sponsors until they all drop off like flies.
Also: election year coming up. Crank it up to the max. Make those guys pay with their jobs. If they like to threaten our freedoms, we voters also have the ability to make them realize that their congressional seat is on their line.

I remember reading a long article on here saying that Obama was pigeonholed into signing that (there was a reason he couldn't veto). I'll see if I can find it again.
