[1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - yongjianrong - 2008-10-19 QuickDraw Wrote:Fiel said that Shark Wave is the same as Dragon Pulse and the crit one is exactly the same as archers critical skill. It seems that the icons of skills are icons of other skills. Like transform is pirate's Super Transform etc.:f6: [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - tcp520 - 2008-10-19 yongjianrong Wrote:It seems that the icons of skills are icons of other skills. Like transform is pirate's Super Transform etc.:f6: because it is still under testing, therefore some skill icons are using the existing icons... when it is officially launched, the icons will be changed.. but i think some skill icons will be remained as the same... [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Goals - 2008-10-19 If you think about it deeply, this system is quite like rebirth. I'm totally making a flame wizard =D. Pairs up w/ my level 92 f/p on same acct ^^ I think of it as, a stronger version of your parents (since you get more SP and AP), except at a lower level. This makes me want to grind to 200 for the full benefits of your child. Let's say I make a flame wizard to 120, I get about 733 INT as LUKless. Not to mention many bonuses from the class. Question: Do the parents get AP and SP benefits? Oh dear if they do I'm restarting :X [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Rigumaro - 2008-10-19 Goals Wrote:Question: Do the parents get AP and SP benefits? Oh dear if they do I'm restarting :X Parents only get Blessing skill, bassed on child's lvl. No extra AP/SP benefits. I murder for 18 magic. ![]() Another question: Do we keep the same IGN? [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - LovelySins - 2008-10-19 Goals Wrote:Oh well still good. I murder for 18 magic. from what I understand, you have to choose a different name for your 'child' [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Chameleonic - 2008-10-19 Rigumaro Wrote:Parents only get Blessing skill, bassed on child's lvl. No extra AP/SP benefits. I dont like that at all. The parents buff should be the same as the one they give the child. I want a lv 16 Buff damit
[1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Spadow - 2008-10-20 The skill range for Spark has been lowered to 150. This was applied in KMST 1.2.173. [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - rattown - 2008-10-20 so basically any person with a charecter over level 30 can go to this cygnus npc and create a striker and the striker has 1 basic element and uses knuckles only ... and every time the striker gains 10 levels the charecter that was over level 30 that created the striker gets sp added into the Blessing of the Sprite which can only reach level 12 at this point in time due to the level cap on the strikers in kmst. very interesting to say the least. trying to breath life back into maple for people that are level 200 ... 20 extra attack cant be too bad. [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Stereo - 2008-10-20 I dunno if it's really meant for people at the level cap, other than as something new to play... it doesn't give them anything to do with their max level character, just makes it less pointless. "Techniques" so i'm guessing there is more than 1. but just 1 in data for now ... maybe there will be more interesting ones that can get level 200's to come back to play the game as these "knights". if its more than 1 technique and you need to create 1 of each type of knight to get all the "Techniques" that could make maple last for years... of grinding . Rather than just a year or so to get from 1-200. and if the rest of the techniques are of the same caliber or better ... it could be very lucritive at getting back those 200's that are currently done with the game.

Well, you get the full +20 buff for your rebirth character... rattown Wrote:"Techniques" so i'm guessing there is more than 1. but just 1 in data for now ... maybe there will be more interesting ones that can get level 200's to come back to play the game as these "knights". if its more than 1 technique and you need to create 1 of each type of knight to get all the "Techniques" that could make maple last for years... of grinding I'm sorry, but what exactly did you...mean? [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - JakeAndBake - 2008-10-20 If strikers can only use knuckles, guns lvl 10-120 will deflate like mad cos noone needs them. too bad there isn't a weapon over 120 yet [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Holypie - 2008-10-20 JakeAndBake Wrote:If strikers can only use knuckles, guns lvl 10-120 will deflate like mad cos noone needs them. too bad there isn't a weapon over 120 yetexcelent... [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Petrified - 2008-10-21 I heard there was supposed to be 5 jobs released in all by KMS Tespia. Well, 5 classes. Is this true? [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Stereo - 2008-10-21 Argh... can we settle on a definition Job: Something which has its own item category (Beginner, Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief, Pirate) Class: A specific branch in a job tree (eg. Warrior:Fighter->Crusader->Hero - could also be called by any of these subclass names) Subclass: A specific node in a class (eg. Warrior:Crusader) Then it's easier to say they're adding a new class for each job - Noblesse for Beginner, Striker for Pirate, and so on. [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - Loose - 2008-10-21 Let's call them... Noble Classes? Isn't Job: Crusader, Bandit, Night Lord, etc? Because you advance your Job (Bandit to Chief Bandit). And Class is entire group: Warrior, Thief, etc? That's how I always thought it went. [1.2.172] The Knights of Cygnus - Striker - LuxAeterna - 2008-10-21 finnaly a vid of a 120 striker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElTjF8tFo70 |
