EDIT: I just finished the Warrior storyline. 10 chapters in total.

What? No. I started out as the thief.

You must have been using the save file that came with it then. :o

No. I think when you start the game, and it shows you the warrior and its like a yes or no thing, if you say no it shows you the thief.

You have an option to pick from Warrior or Thief at the beginning.

I tried that once to see and it still made me choose the Warrior. ._.

MapleStory DS discussion - Soapy - 2010-04-25

Yeah, I picked Thief from the beginning as well. I fear what happens when I reach 30 because I'll have no idea what to pick for the questions/riddle thingy.>-<

MapleStory DS discussion - Daku - 2010-04-25

From the beginning you can choose Thief....
BTW im up to the point where i got maya the letter and then i saw the archer girl run around in ludi, now im stuck...
And when i choose my character at the beginning the thief is blacked out o.0
Watdoaido?

MapleStory DS discussion - knlbr - 2010-04-25

I could choose the thief at the start too... >_>

I still don't know what the hard save button is. All I see is a quick save. And does it let you play as the thief after you've started as the warrior?

You have to talk to that dark skinned, gay fairy papaya that you see next to those NPCs that sell you potions, equips and skills. They're usually right next to eachother.

Okay, now I'm stuck again. The guy sent me to do something with those totem poles but I have no idea what. I went to all the totem poles except for if there are ones to the right of the excavation camp. I don't know how to get past those guys that kick you out on that end.

In the meantime, I grinded to 26 =|

Seems to be a Nitendo DS emulator for me, being run in Windows.

I know this. If you saw my later post, I said that I wasn't really thinking properly at the time of the post.

Loving the game so far, doing the Archer storyline after completing the Warrior one. Going level down was lame though, but I guess the awesome Arrow Rain makes up for it. The Archer does seem to make less money than the Warrior, because I could buy all the skills equips I needed and have extra money, but now there's stuff in the shop all the time.

I took about 10 hours to complete the Warrior story (if you remove all the useless running around and grinding because I didn't know what to do), so if each story takes 10 hours then we have a game of at least 40 hours here. That's pretty big, since most RPGs I've played take ~35 hours for the story.

I kind of stopped, the whole talking that never stops does not appeal to me. If i could understand it would be different. I'll play through it slowly.

MapleStory DS discussion - Jon - 2010-04-27

I got stuck in Leafre and stopped playing, lol.
