Flamethrower verse Gaviota - Chameleonic - 2008-12-31 Doesnt 1 point in Air Strike completely replace Graviota in damage done? Oh and does it replace Graviota like Burst replaces DS? I cant see the point of getting more than 15 Graviota... 1.You never use it in training during 3rd Job anyway. 2.Air Strike completely replaces it from lv1. Oh and does it replace Graviota like Burst replaces DS? air strike is an entirely different skill. it doesn't replace anything. I use gaviota all the time when I'm training, and it does speed it up, so I'm not really sure where you get that "never" from. o_O Flamethrower verse Gaviota - ItzTaylor - 2008-12-31 I use it too. f3 Potora Wrote:Lmao Nice! Alot of Hackers at himes in GMS right now. I went there the other day to see how good the exp was. Never got to. Hacker on every channel. I still use that once in a while when I want to clear something without getting hit from a ridiculous sniping angle. Not while training, obviously. It doesn't replace grenade Grenade: ![]() Air Strike: ![]() But well, no one ever uses grenade anyway, so who cares. Flamethrower verse Gaviota - Winry - 2008-12-31 He meant replace as in he put the skill over his grenade button. But Yes: Burst fire is a "boost" to Double Shot. Wraith of the octopi is a "boost" to Octopus. You can still summon gaviota and air strike separately. Flamethrower verse Gaviota - blitzkrieg - 2008-12-31 Winry Wrote:He meant replace as in he put the skill over his grenade button. oh lol. we were talking about it in-game and couldn't figure out why he would say something like that when everyone else was talking about skills actually replacing eachother. o_o; Flamethrower verse Gaviota - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-12-31 Point still stands though that FT and gaviota are used very rarely in normal training for corsairs. I'd rather be able to have both skills at an "optimal level of efficiency" instead of solely 1 skill. Nono, I mean, with Air Strike's massive hit radius, I wouldn't ever need to use Grenade to hit far away monsters again. Oh wait, actually, it doesn't hit that far down, does it? Never mind. Gaviota doesn't hit that much farther down either. o_o I don't know why you would want to hit something under you anyway. That kind of training map was never used after magatia. If you want to hit something under you in high level training, jump down, or let your partner hit it. xD Or use invisible shot if you want to hit something under you.

Took forever, but it was pretty awesome to have Grenade there. Saved quite a few pots, as I was only level 72 or something like that. I plan my builds around factors other than training and bossing. I don't know what monster or map you're talking about. :f6: Flamethrower verse Gaviota - ItzTaylor - 2008-12-31 How does Grenade even come close to being in the same category as Air Strike. They attack completely different. You guys running out of keys or something? Lmfao. Flamethrower verse Gaviota - Holypie - 2008-12-31 they're both bombs... i guess Flamethrower verse Gaviota - Kaasoljoyyx - 2009-01-01 Takebacker Wrote:Monkey things? Monkey things in leafre...? Flamethrower verse Gaviota - ItzTaylor - 2009-01-01 Leafre is built off Greek Mythology. Griffey is a Griffen- a monster with the body of a lion, the head and wings of an eagle, and back covered with feathers. Harps are Pheonix- a mythical bird that dies in flames and is reborn from the ashes. Manon/Wyverns/Skelegons are Dragons: a mythical creature typically depicted as a large and powerful serpent or other reptile, with magical or spiritual qualities. Kentaurus is a Centaur- a half man half horse. So that would mean, Hankies would be the Greek term of Satyr- Half man half goat (example- Phil in Hercules, and Mr. Tummus from Narnia) Also known as Faun in Roman. Goat figure =/= Monkey o.O
