Unless the kids are dumbf'ucks like their bush-loving father, they don't deserve to be harassed for what didn't directly involve them. :/
I'm cool with it going against their dad, he's a prick, but not them(unless of course they're like him).

Personally, I feel like the skater is just a real life version of a very good troll. Still, the old guy had ample opportunity to avert this; he underestimated some kid and it cost him dearly. As a vengeful person myself, if I found myself in that exact situation I would have done exactly what he did, most likely. I'm a wimpy guy, like seriously, ANYONE could beat me up in a physical fight; because of that, it's important to use your brain to fight instead, and that's what the skater did.
You REALLY think if you were in his situation and had to listen to some old man cursing at you for 10+ minutes, then lying to the police right in front of your face about what you did, then pulling all that other crap on the actual court date, that you would be OK with just letting him off? I guess I'm just not a very forgiving person.

The guy with the bush and the skater can hate on each other all they want, send death threats to each other for all the pomegranate i give, but making the guys kids suffer for it when it had nothing to do with them? it's low. The guy with the bush overreacted in many ways, but it doesn't excuse that kind of behaviour.
The kids are being bullied not because his dad is only a dlck, he's one of those stuck up rich guys. And I'm sure it's exaggerated. It's actually a great idea though, because when the children don't agree with your actions, then that's when the tower crumbles. Kid's not as dumb as he looks.

Come on, guys. If you're going to be mad at someone, be mad at the people actually doing the harassing, which would be the fault of both the father and the high school students.
Yes, his response to that question could have been more carefully thought out, and I didn't even interpret the "it's going to get better" bit as an attack on the kids but more on the father, but I guess to each his own.
If you have to pick a side, then I would say don't, especially if the backlash affecting his kids makes you suddenly decide to be on the father's side, because then you're just an idiot.
