NES library is 700+. Sure, most of it is crap, but there's a lot more than 10 good games. I'll just chalk it up to laziness on your part.

Edit: Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and The Legend of Zelda are confirmed for europe, as well as Yoshis Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania and Mario vs. Donkey Kong from the GBA.

Not yet, the NES games are out on sept 1st for early buyers, the GBA games will be out by the end of the year. At least, thats what they're doing for europe. Assuming the rest of the world is the same.

By the way, you need to take your 3DS into the eShop at least once before August 12th to be eligible for the "Ambassador" program (to get the free games when they become available)

I don't know how to measure sales honestly. I see it sold millions of units when it just came out, but after that? Did OoT help hardware sales?
I just know that Nintendo needs to move fast before the Vita release this year.
