Second round of nerf has come. I won't go in specifics, but the Link Skill now gives the following effect:
Lv. 1: 4% boss damage, 4% critical rate and 3% maxHP and MP
Lv. 2: 7% boss damage, 7% critical rate and 4% maxHP and MP

Ill still take it, since level 2 gives 7% boss/7% crit, and who cant use more hp/mp
, its decent enough to warrant replacing hayatos keen edge over

looks like beast tamer is going the same route that CMS angelic burster did and being nerfed to the ground
is it too much to hope we dont get the nerfed nerfed version cms is getting?

Can't complain really, it's not 20%.. but 7% is still something, and the 7% Critical Rate and 4% HP/MP is not bad.
If they had simply lowered the amount of boss damage, it would have sucked majorly, but adding critical rate and HP/MP sweetened the deal somewhat. It will be nice when they stack up with the other link skills.
EDIT: Oh hey, I just remembered I get 3% crit from my Marksman character card. 3+7+15 = 25% free crit! I like that, it's a nice clean number.

Yeah. With that link skill decSE only gives me 4% crit rate, while the crit damage can be overcome through good potential and high w.att of a reinforced ring. I don't want to get rid of it though.

It just "feels" like the Ring is contributing so much to my damage (via Minimum Critical Damage) even though I know it isn't because the math says it isn't, at least not compared to a relatively low %STAT Ring.

I know what you mean. Especially when you don't crit 100% of the time the gap between crit and non-crit damage is HUGE. The difference is in the millions for me...
