Beast Tamer discussion thread - Singaporean - 2014-01-13 Okay the bear just keeps blowing my mind. Angry Slash - Reinforce (+20% Damage) Angry Slash - Critical Rate (+20% Crit Rate) Angry Slash - Boss Killer (+20% Boss Damage) These hypers just make everything ridiculous ><. I really am tempted to leave my kanna but I really don't want to ![]() Also, from the look on spadow's video, do you have to use forepaw slash THEN angry slash? Because if so... I'm not gonna like that one bit. Also, this seemingly limited skill system for the companions makes me sad. I mean, bear is obvious to max but... the obvious duo would be bear and cat. However, the leopard looks so amazing.... I'm also gonna definitely try the hawk first just because I always support the underdog. Beast Tamer discussion thread - Flaming_Bunny - 2014-01-13 I understand why people don't like the advertisement of the class, but there's nothing wrong with a little femininity sometimes. It is like super moe though teehee I really wanna play this character, my main already has a dog ears and tail thing going on (as she has for 5 years or so now)... I certainly hope that isn't the case, though. I'd hate that. These types are the most vulnerable and offended by hypergirliness such as Angelic Buster and Beast Tamer's trailer. Also, Beast Tamer's trailer is just plain..... weird. I watch it and I feel like I've witnessed something not meant for mortal minds to comprehend. (I suppose the lyrics of the song being in english and somewhat nonsensical adds to this.) I find it not so much girly as childish. Like it's the opening credits of a show for 5-year-olds. Same shi't. Aimed at 5 year olds.

AREN'T WE GLAD TODAY'S KIDS GOT TO WATCH PLANES AND NOT THIS?? Beast Tamer discussion thread - onocat - 2014-01-13 SaptaZapta Wrote:I find it not so much girly as childish. I, personally, love it. Except the eyes on BT... They're so... big. Beast Tamer discussion thread - Niernen - 2014-01-13 Seeing how Zero creation ending was pushed back to the 22 it is likely that Beast Tamer will come out around that time. Maybe they don't want to add it the same time all these events are ending/starting? I think it's more like they really do want a global release since another server pushed back theirs to the 22nd first. Beast Tamer discussion thread - Christian - 2014-01-13 Well I'm happy they are pushing it back to "try" and release it with no problems or even if it's a global release for everyone that's still fine. The class looks like it's going to be a lot of fun & the skill trees are a nice change to how you can usually play a single class. I say we really do need more options like this to bring a new element to a old game Beast Tamer discussion thread - Cerebella - 2014-01-13 This class looks interesting I want to try it and the Beast Tamer trailer looks pretty cute. Beast Tamer discussion thread - Polantaris - 2014-01-14 Most of the posts on this page sound familiar... Beast Tamer discussion thread - Singaporean - 2014-01-14 It's really stupid how people are still on the video. Like seriously grow the fk up for crying out loud. The entire concept is to show a girl and her friends and their shenanigans as they try to become proper superheros. That's it. End of story. With that said, are there any formulas out concerning the stick? Also, are Tamers going to have their own unique secondary or just use a shield? Beast Tamer discussion thread - Takebacker - 2014-01-14 Singaporean Wrote:Also, are Tamers going to have their own unique secondary or just use a shield? It's not like secondary is ever a superior option vs the shield anyway since we have shield att/m.att scrolls here. So long as it can be used of course. Thanks Beast Tamer discussion thread - hadriel - 2014-01-14 The thing about secondaries and the weapon used is not originally about the shield even though it does sway options. The original idea was to match a user to using a 1H sword that is faster but lower base WA, and at the same time giving them more defence, whereas 2H users do more damage per hit but have a slower attacking speed. As for now, with all the scrolling and stuff, the question to ask is: can the enhancement bonuses and higher base WA from 2H weapons compensate for the higher attacking speed of 1H users as well as WA contribution from the shield. Remember that you can't scroll a secondary. Hadriel Beast Tamer discussion thread - SaptaZapta - 2014-01-14 hadriel Wrote:The thing about secondaries and the weapon used is not originally about the shield even though it does sway options. The main advantage of 2h over 1h (for those classes that get a choice) is not the higher base WA or enhancement bonuses. It's the multiplier. 2H swords have a multiplier that's about 10% higher than 1H swords. Once upon a time, a shield with 20 attack could make up for that, but now that people have way more than 200 attack total (often more than that just on their sword), the shield's scrolling hardly makes a difference.
