Whoever did the video editing for that video needs to get a pay increase. It got me so hyped up.

Although I don't like that they switched back to the old BEWWWW-BING!, I liked the one with the clouds for the MapleStory logo reveal.

I just wondered about something: At the beggining of this video they show Dawmveil map which is bigger and diffrent from what it is now: Do you think it will expand to that large map that they show us or it wont and it just to let us see a map which is meanless

Actually that map isn't bigger at all, it shows us only areas that we know of already.
Compare:

You can see Rien (The horseshoe shaped island), Leafre (the dragon) and Ludus Lake (the 2 islands just above the compass).
In the bottom right corner you can see Commerci, and just above it is the spooky forests of Tyrenum.

The only areas shown on there we didn't know about are the mountains just under the compass, and the rather big island which Temple of Time seems to be floating above.

I have to hand it to Nexon, they are doing a really god job of expanding Maple World and making it fit.

Also the continent is starting to look like a dragon with horns ;3

I have this feeling the bosses (kraken, leviathan) will have crazy damage attached to them. Much like the Gallacto-Drill we have. You know how you had to hug the drill just to survive? Something like that..

Well apperantly if you look at the world map you can see the little island near Temple of Time... So this island not new

Hence why I didn't mention that one, I mentioned the bigger one next to it, which you can't see because the Temple of Time is covering it.

Well in the trailer we can see a Demon Avenger being hit for 3k damage. that's pretty low for a boss, really. Of course it will likely have HP% attacks because this game is retarded, but hugging the boss definitely looks possible if that is as high as its damage output gets.

He also appears to only hug the boss and take bump damage during the scenes.

That new fan had better be worth it. I'll probably be using an empress to get it anyway though. Same for the Desperado if it's released. I also can probably imagine an op fan simply because nexon always made mistakes with fans. *hopes for 240 matk clean~~~~ Excellent

Sadly the fan has 20x matk along with the PDR and BD bonuses when its at max level

Forgive me for merely skimming the thread but do we know
what the actual requirements to upgrade these weapons is?

If it doesn't require insane amounts of funding to get the required items/quests
obtained/completed it would be very advantageous to get an empress weapon to upgrade.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned that they drop from the bosses. both of which don't look too difficult judging from the trailer.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were a NX sink though like most items level 150+
