Most of them had to fight for it... apparently a lot of the accounts were given a 'permanent lock' flag so that any ban appeals would be automatically ignored, but if you get a friendly GM on live chat you may be able to talk your way around that it seems.

So apparently in YMCK, my friend overheard a convo from a known hacker/ duper who got released from their perma ban . He said that he would make all the ra items become 100 mil and make all superior gollux stuff worth only 500 mil...
Guess I should prepare myself not to enter the fm for awhile or transfer mesos or anything suspcious for a bit. And to be wary of cheap superior items...
Just a warning, don't know if 100% true.

Well those are some dedicated people, if they waited such a long time just to get unbanned then maybe their accounts are all they have in their lives
