I've held onto a very edgy IGN, ''Sociopaths'' for a couple of years now, it's not an ign I'll ever use but I just can't seem to let go of it =/.
The one I'm more particularly proud of is ''OreoPlane'' and I was surprised when I made it a couple months ago that it wasn't taken. Yes I'm also using the variation on my bishop, sorry ^_^;.

Lately I've been naming my characters off animes they vaguely relate to.
My Marskman has the name Projectment based off Fate Stay Emiya/Archer and his ability of Projection/Reinforcement, he's also an Archer, would have been better if I had made a BowMaster but I already have a Mercedes and a Wind Breaker.
Eludicator based of Sword Art Online, the main character wielded two swords, akin to how the character Luminous wields two elements, one of those swords was named the Eludicator.
Mistdreavus, a combination of Pokemon and Naruto for my Dual Blader, I originally intended for him to be named Mistchievous, but this came to me at the last second, a combination of Misdreavus and the Village Hidden in the Mist.
Suzerains for my Phantom. The French word for Overlord, is suzerain, Overlord because Cardfight Vanguard has a few relevant boss monsters with the term Overlord in their names, and Phantom uses cards and has French names for his skills.
Albionic for my Xenon, a reference to Code Geass, the Lancelot Albion was a mecha in the show.
SingersVoid for my Kaiser due to the series Guilty Crown, in the show everyone has a Void, and one of the main character's manifests as a Sword called the Singers Sword, so SingersVoid.
Dragoequites is my Evan, in season 3 of Yugioh, the protagonist temporarily used a fusion monster called Dragoequites.
These last ones aren't anime related.
Galwit(sadly an I), Power Rangers Mystic force morphing call used this term, Paladins use multiple elements which reminded me of the multiple Rangers.
MagnumKiller the Cannon Shooter, though normally called Banzai Bills, Magnum Bills are an alias of the giant bullets from Super Mario, Cannon Shooters have a similar Bullet in their official artwork and skills.
Sylphilis the Mercedes, a little less proud of this one, but Sylphs are similar to Elves and Fairies which Mercedes' story ties into.
