You can ONLY get Rune Blueprints from Fairy Chests, though. Equipment Blueprints only come from regular chests (metal plated or not, although I think metal plated have a higher chance).

Enjoying it though, with the time I played so far managed to kill the first boss and upgrade quite a bit. I enjoy exploring new variations of the castle for gold and items xD

100%'d the game yesterday. Was so ecstatic. I was only missing two armor blueprints before I had all pieces of armor, so I kept doing runs over and over trying to find them, and I'd either end up just getting a lot of gold or dying due to carelessness. Finally on my last run of the night, I found one of those statues you pray at and, lo and behold, I got that compass item, followed its cursor to the secret portal and got the last two blueprints I was missing from the two special chests. So glad.

Beat the game myself yesterday morning. NG+ going pretty quickly, Khair or whatever his name is (giant eye boss) was WAY easier this time, it was kind of disappointing. He also gave me less than 20% of how much gold I had at the time, which was lame.
