Nickolodeon's downfall started to begin in 2005 (Minus Avatar). That's when Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents started to turn to pomegranate. Then from 2006-2008, pomegranate shows have started, and Avatar's ending secured it.

For some reason, I'm thinking of some kind of tribal game show with kids where they had to run and get some coveted idol or amulet and it would involve an obstacle course and 'natives' and whatnot. Anybody know if this show was on Nickolodeon at some point? :o

Damn, I remember that. Something about a temple and a talking rock thing and Silver Monkeys; I don't remember the exact name if it, though.

When I was little and watched that show, I was all like "I can kick those guys' asses! They're doing it wrong! Go into the other room! THE OTHER ROOM, IDIOT! Dammit, where are the applications for this show? THE OTHER ROOM!!!"

And GUTS or something like that, about kids and Olympics stuff and super ultra mega hyper aggro-mountain thing. I remember watching that show while eating Spaghetti-O's... I miss my Spaghetti-O's...

But yes, Rocko's Modern Life was kick ass and Ren & Stimpy and CatDog. Oh and from other stations, Anamaniacs and Freakazoid!

Cartoons today are mostly Japanese crap or just crap. At least my kids will have YouTube.

The only new shows I enjoy are like, Ned's Declassified and Drake and Josh, but both of those don't even air anymore.

Ah, the old shows I used to love so much. "Are You Afraid of the Dark" FTW. Also, (if I remember the name correctly) "Double Dare". "Hey Arnold" was another good one, but of course , "Rocko's Modern Life" was great.

Edit: I almost forgot completely... "Kenan and Kel", a show of epic proportions, it deserves to still be shown.
