I'd say I'm more private than public since; not to be elitist or anything; I do try to maintain a courteous image. That isn't to say that I have much of a presence anywhere though, so it isn't that hard to defend. I've ranted here and there though, so I'm sure some information about me is out there.
I refuse to post images of myself since *redacted*. I typed something out there, but realized that would have made for a hypocritical post as it had too much information.
Though I am more willing to share my first name now than I used to be. And no, it's not John. I'm planning on changing the name of this account as soon as I can pay for it.
As for location information, I never explicitly say it, but I have implied it several times before. I honestly am on the side of things where I have no intention as of this point to ever meet with someone I've only met online... outside of craigslist sales...

Er, I guess online I'm pretty public about a lot of stuff however I know that's not entirely the case. We all have our secrets and reservations, I am no different. But, compared to offline I am much more open. Recently, I've been thinking maybe I should change that after the past two month's events.

I'm way much more open online than I am offline, but that's mainly because I'm a quiet person (around people I don't know). If someone directly asks me a question, I tend to just answer without thinking about how personal it is. I have a weird problem with lying to strangers

My personal info? More or less private. Y'all know I'm at Michigan State and my name isn't Anthony. You can find an old picture of me in a pirate ship if you look hard enough. I spill more of my thoughts here though, since I figure this is the last place people I do know will come find me. Facebook is essentially the opposite.

oh yea, this. was it haseo for example that could get sued by his school for difamation or whatever? pomegranate gets pretty serious if you rant and your bosses see it, and i'm not one to believe in good luck <.<

I'm extremely private because I am extremely paranoid, and I am extremely paranoid because I am in the netsec field. They go hand in hand! Though to be fair, I'm the only person in the entire world with my name, I've checked. Incredibly uncommon Lebanese first name with an uncommon French-Canadian last name. There are only 2 or 3 people that I do not know in real life that know my full name, and all of them I have known around 10 years across a ton of different games now. Even if that were not the case, though, I would still probably be like this. I think I may have said what state I am from once or twice on here, but that kind of thing shouldn't even matter, since I'm located right near a pretty large city anyway. The only thing I really don't care if people know is my age, but I still won't go out of my way to make it known.
Why I believe people would stalk me is unclear, but hey, apparently in my mind I am the center of the world...which is yet another sign that I am clinically paranoid. Good times!
Also, I see what just happened without even realizing I was doing it until I was about to post; apparently, sharing self-deprecating mental disorders is one thing I do not mind doing. More good times!

Eh, I guess I'm kinda public with some of my details. Here I've given my A/S/L, posted my first name, school I've attended and my current profession. Other than that I really don't go into my personal life. I mainly post about games or things I'm working on. My a couple of my older/deeper Maple buddies may know a little bit in my head but that's about it.

Why I do it: attention whore I guess or the more you are open the more people can trust you.
But Online gaming/MapleStory me (like this account) I don't share stuff.
I started being open but then I got a PM on basil from this guy who knew a lot about me, freaked me out and I been quite since.
