blah blah denecroing blah

They didn't even give us 10% off during the Steam Sale. Come on. Darksiders 2 is only a month older and it has almost everything at 66% off already, including the $10 DLCs, and the "Season Pass". That's why I bought DS2's DLC and not BL2's.

Hey at least you can buy the game and their DLC lol, stupid licensing bullcrap that the whole game industry would be better without that pomegranate.

Borderlands 2 - 案山子 - 2013-04-06

I got the Ultimate Vault Hunter DLC (Level cap increase).

pineappleing challenging as hell solo. I've lost around 4mil from all the deaths, and I'm still in the very first set of Sanctuary missions. :f6: Definitely adds more action to the standard stuff though which is nice, and I'm testing out the PhysX option for the first time. It's the greatest thing ever to happen in gaming. My CPU gasses out too much on me with it set to high, but medium is still fantastic. If I had an Nvidia card it would be much easier to run PhysX since the GPU runs it and not the CPU.

Borderlands 2 - Five Second Pose - 2013-06-05

something about Tiny Tina DLC or something

Borderlands 2 - Punch - 2013-06-06

Would you suggest starting a new character? Or trying True Vault Hunter Mode?

I started True Vault Hunter Mode, but it's repetitive :/ and I'm trying to do all the side quests this playthrough and that makes it moar boring :o

Borderlands 2 - KhainiWest - 2013-06-06

Spoilers if you havent beaten the game. My recommendation is beat the first playthrough as fast as possible, the second play through focus on quests that give you good items, really late, like early 40's. Then for the third playthrough is when you start farming for a chance for legendary. Or get torques DLC and get a few golds from him.

Do we have any idea when they intend to release that DLC? It seems like they did a fantastic job on it.

June 25th, part of the season pass.

By the way if anyone needs any legendaries, especially the infinity pistols, which are currently almost impossible to find right now, I'll be happy to dupe some for you.

Borderlands 2 - Dark Link - 2013-06-06

Looks like I've got some work to do before this DLC releases. Only watched 15min of it and my god the hilarity.

Authentic Loot Chest that has posters, decals, a mask (with a SHIFT code to have it in-game), and SHIFT codes for Legendary Items.

It looks so beautiful. Frown

Is that the Terramorphus dude?

If so, I have yet to see him, and I am now intrigued.

Looks really cool. I love replicas of video game things (like the mask and chest) and all the other stuff is pretty cool, too, but to be honest... I WOULD buy this, but not for those reasons alone. I'd love to have those Legendary cards with codes to get them in-game. It feels cheap and I feel like a cheater, but I really don't want to spend hours upon hours farming for that one item I need to have enough of an edge to beat all the big raid bosses, which I DO want to do, but just can't with my current gear. I just don't have the patience for farming.

Just use a save edit mod if you really want to get legendaries, I had to use it to help a friend with a psycho mod because, psycho's mechanics are so f`ucking stupid.

Yes, and he's extremely annoying. Although I think gunzerkers have the easiest time with him, but he pretty much can throw you off the map unless you're against a rock or wall. But then that limits your mobility and two hits generally kill you. He has tentacles you can use to revive but they typically go under ground as soon as he does and will wait the entire duration to f`uck with you.

Borderlands 2 - Polantaris - 2013-06-08

I finally got around to doing Torgue's Campaign of Carnage on my old Gaige at Lv.43 on True Vault Hunter's Mode, and I must say...I REALLY feel like I'm playing D3's Inferno Difficulty for Borderlands 2 at almost all times, and it's extremely frustrating and annoying.

Everything was going decently fine until I hit The Forge. I was getting downed, but it was never too bad. Then I hit The Forge, and the Loader Knockoffs just do such ridiculous damage that it completely killed the fun almost immediately. They were doing over 10,000 a hit with their regular bullets and their rockets instantly downed me. Eventually I got killed, lost all 400 Anarchy Stacks, and immediately everything became nearly impossible. I have weapons for my level, yet everything took over 4-5 clips of any weapon (Even my 300 Bullet E-Tech Assault Rifle took two clips to do anything). I would be instantly downed by just about any attack, and Deathtrap was killed instantly any time I summoned him. The game went from fun to ridiculously rage inducing and I'm honestly very disappointed. I get that playing solo has its disadvantages, but monsters get stronger from more players? How much worse can that crap get?

I somehow managed to get myself to the blimp boss and immediately quit. Couldn't even deplete his shield with a shock weapon before I was killed and knew I would never beat him.

I don't even want to get to max level right now, I don't think it will be fun at all. Another difficulty when this one is already filled with retardedly overpowered enemies? No thanks.

Sorry, had to vent. Annoyed and the game gave me a headache. Not sure if I'm even going to go back to it anytime soon.

EDIT: Disregard this I have no idea what I'm saying.

This. Basically, he hits hard, is fucking huge (and thus hard to get away from/flank) and only has tentacles up roughly 50% of the time. He goes through the following phases (not in exact order, but roughly so).

1. Normal, mostly just tries to smack you around
2. Spike tentacles (they shoot spikes)
3. Rock tentacles (throw rocks that do huge damage and knock you around)
4. Laser tentacles (they shoot beams of steady damage)
5. Fire Terramorphous (he's on fire, can do fire novas, hurts like fucking hell)
6. Fire tentacles
7. Masher tentacles (big T will try to get as close as he can to you with a bazillion melee tentacles around. Big AOE damage is a must here (think Bonus Package, Conference Call, etc. In fact, they're generally just good for this bossfight anyway).
8. Spikes + Lasers
9. Fire again with many more fire tentacles than last time
10. Gravity. pineapple. THIS. FORM. If he has broken the boulders on the cliff, you're screwed. Thankfully he only seems to do this when he's nearly dead.

best advice: If you KNOW you're going to die soon, stop hitting Terramorphous, let him knock you down, then kill some tentacles and get up again.

The fight is hardest (solo) on the Siren: You can't use a huge chunk of your skills (things that work when an enemy is lifted, etc), your action skill doesn't do much to help you survive, and you don't have any way to draw aggro away.

You genuinely have to play with other players. Even though the monsters get tougher, the extra skills you get from the other teammates make the difference. Right now I'm playing Psycho, Siren, and Zerker. Siren pretty much locks and lets me do insane burst dps, psycho has insane melee damage and has the ability to immediately revive and run while in FFYL.

Unfortunately TVHM is the most balanced by far...but UVHM is just absolutely ridiculous. You have to slag, there's no other way. They regenerate health, and even level 50 legendaries have you struggling by the time you fight Flint.

That's honestly really disappointing and annoying. I'm all for difficult gameplay but not stupidly hard.
