So on bearwolves I do about 300-400k's on demon slash...& w/ teh same buffs at czak i do only about 250-300k on demon slash
However, I have about 10% boss dmg from skill +70% boss dmg from wep
Also, dark bind is maxed (it gives passive 30% PDR ignore)
Anyone else noticing a nexon scam on %boss dmg lines

While BW are boss tagged in a sense they're resistant to some status effects and 1hit skills etc, last I checked boss damage doesnt effect them. Easy way to check is, Dinosaur food, what's your range? I hit around 200-300k on BW with 60k range and no boss damage, or maxed bind.
Easiest way to test this is to try using Demon Impact which ignores a large portion of def as well. If the numbers you said are true though, PDR wouldnt make THAT much of a difference. Couldbe your boss damage isnt stacking properly. I don't know :/

A friend of mine was complaining that his 50% boss damage dagger wasnt stacking, because it made him do less damage than a 30% pdr 30% boss one on a 20% pdr boss.
I think boss damage stacking is borked.

i kinda doubt it's wrong, at least for me the difference between attacking a boss and a non-boss is pretty massive ._.

I'd say it's just taking the lower of the two numbers much like ignore defence. I have 50% boss on my bow and it isn't working how it's supposed too.

don't think so though, because my weapon was 30boss 6% total, and after cubing to 40/30, the damage on bosses did increase.

It's pretty damn easy to do the math to see if you're actually hitting what you're supposed to instead just saying "I THINK IT'S NERFED BUT I DON'T KNOW"

double posting just so that whoever browses the "new posts" button sees this before going off and doing calcs too.
no buffs except decent CO, hex, and beholder, range of:
20654~22450.
on normal guys, my damage should be sac*zerk*range= 6.9*1.6=11.04
228020~247848
results observed match, taking this to dojo, i have boss 40%, boss 30% on main weapon, and 10% from DS skill, damage seen is 410xxx
above range of 228020~247848 multiplied by 1.80 is 410436~446126
for the sake of science, i did a few extra hits, i got these numbers.
418xxx
420xxx
428xxx
426xxx
425xxx
conclusion: boss80% is working perfectly fine for me.
edit: forgot to say, this done with sacrifice, which is 100% pdr ignore. also, if anyone's interested, most crits on bosses were of 610xxx, lowest being 570xxx (sweet mother of god, this potential is insane)

meh i suppose i wasnt observing the #'s too carefully since i was 3man czakking and it was hard to see my own #s. but for the #s i did see it was rather disappointing...as one would suspect a massive upgrade in dmg on it. ill go test my dmg on bearwolves and then anego right now

in conclusion...my 80% boss is DEFINITELY not working at all/properly
damage on a bearwolf: 250-280k demon slashes (all non crits)

w/ 80% boss. i would expect my 250-280k non crit demon slashes to become ~450ks...obviously i was no where close

Retraces has 70% boss and the damage difference matches when he hits non boss vs boss monster.
Also, bearwolf is only 10% PDR i believe. No regular monster I believe even has 25 PDR, closest is 20 e.g. castle golems
Also boss damage doesn't do anything to LHC, they're boss-flagged but not boss-type (if that makes any sense)

You have 30% ignore.
So theoretically, on bear wolves, you're doing 100-(10-0.3(10)) 93% of your damage.
Czak has 50% PDR, so 100-(50-0.3(50))= 65% of your damage.
0.65*1.8=1.17
1.17/0.93=1.25x more damage at czak than bear wolves
200,000-250,000*1.25= 250,000-312,500
Looks like it's working fine.

well technically a bit less then 1.8x b/c of the additional PDR
im doing around 250-280k on bears + 270-300ks on dojo. there seems to be some degree of %boss dmg working...but not the 40%+30%+10% thats supposed to be in effect

2) Your total boss damage on weapons
3) Your Ignore PDR on weapons
4) What monster are you attacking
5) Your level of Dark Bind
6) Your level of Demon Impact
7) Your level of Devil Cry
